Just steps away, a barrel sauna with lake views, vintage bathing tub, and heated hot tub create a true hot-cold circuit designed for recovery, relaxation, and long conversations that stretch late into the evening.
A four-hole putting green, kayaks, fishing station, custom fire pit with Adirondack seating, adult swings at the water's edge, and layered decks with lounge and dining areas keep the group outside from sunrise to well after dark. The hold is not a charge. It typically appears as pending about two days before arrival and releases automatically after checkout when no damage is reported.

We are Ty and Jenna, the founders of Life of the Modern Nomads. Ty spent over 20 years as a luxury custom home builder before we made the shift into hospitality. Jenna is a designer, entrepreneur, and the founder of Winton and Waits, a boutique lifestyle brand with locations in Fort Worth and Aledo. Together we build, design, and host every property in this collection ourselves. Nothing is outsourced. Nothing is accidental. Every detail in every home was chosen by us, for a reason. We have lived and worked in the Fort Worth and Granbury area for nearly 30 years. We are not investors who manage properties from a distance. We are locals who know this region deeply, care about it genuinely, and take personal pride in every stay that happens inside one of our homes. The home features two full bathrooms located across from one another in a spacious hall area, conveniently positioned between the living area and bedrooms. This hall creates a sense of separation and privacy, highlighted by a statement chandelier and double glass sliding barn doors (8’ tall x 8’ wide) that allow the space to be closed off from the main living area when desired.

Each bathroom offers a distinct yet complementary design, tied together with shimmering, iridescent finishes. One bath features light pink floral wallpaper paired with pearlized white vertical tile, while the other showcases dark charcoal pearlized tile with rich, moody floral wallpaper, creating a bold, boutique-hotel feel.

One bathroom includes a bidet, and both bathrooms feature illuminated makeup mirrors with a defrost function. Guests will also enjoy high-end bath luxury shower mist from our lifestyle brand, Winton and Waits, turning everyday routines into a spa-like experience during your stay.

The primary bedroom is a bold, inviting retreat featuring a king-size Tempur-Pedic bed with a custom art headboard, neon accent sign, and curated vintage lighting from the 1970s. A dramatic 12-foot wall of sliding glass doors opens to a private patio with loungers, just steps from the hot tub. The room includes vaulted 12-foot ceilings with beams, a brick accent wall, and a statement fireplace that provides both warmth & ambiance. Walk-in closet, blackout curtains, plush sleeping pillows, and fan complete the space.

The Front Bedroom features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the open grass farm with beautiful sunrise views (blinds included). It offers a King Tempur-Pedic bed, ample pillows, a ceiling fan, creating a comfortable and calming place to rest.

The Bunk Room includes two sets of bunk beds along a shiplap feature wall. The room features a 12-foot ceiling with recessed lighting, luggage racks, hooks, and an oversized barn door with blackout shades.

For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

This is a lakefront wellness retreat on Lake Granbury featuring a sauna, an exterior vintage bathing tub, sport pool, and hot tub, and pricing is set accordingly. Rates vary based on season, demand, local events, and holidays in the Lake Granbury area. Spring and summer weekends, holiday periods, and high-demand dates reflect peak lake season pricing and may require minimum stay adjustments. Weekend rates typically apply Thursday through Saturday. We do not discount for weather, early departures, or unused amenities. Extended stays may qualify for adjusted pricing when available. Please review occupancy guidelines carefully. The home accommodates up to 12 guests. To finalize your reservation, a standard rental agreement and a refundable security hold are required. Both are standard, platform-approved processes used by professional short-term rental operators. The security hold is not a charge and is never collected unless there is documented damage. It is placed prior to arrival and automatically released after checkout when the home is left in good condition.
